  • Ingredients

  • Preparation

  • 500gMitchell’s Heritage Thick Sliced Bacon, cut
    into 1” pieces
  • 6cups broccoli florets (blanched for 30 seconds,
    shocked in ice bath)
  • 2cups cooked chicken breast, diced
  • 2cups, fusilli pasta, cooked per package
    instructions
  • 2 ½cups 35% cream
  • 1cup panko
  • 1 ½cups grated parmesan cheese, divided
  • 2 shallots, sliced
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1tsp garlic powder
  • 1cup panko
  • 1tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • ¼tsp black pepper
  • ½tsp chili flakes (optional)
  1. Preheat your oven to 400° F.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream, 1 cup of the parmesan cheese and all your spices and seasonings. Put it to the side.
  3. Grab a small bowl to mix the panko and the rest of the parmesan cheese and set that aside, too.
  4. Get that heavy bottomed Dutch oven on medium heat, add the yummy bacon and cook it until it’s a nice, golden brown (not crispy).
  5. Use a slotted spoon to take the bacon out of the pot and onto a paper towel-lined plate to soak up the oil.
  6. Now turn the heat down to low and add the shallots. Give those a cook for about 1-2 minutes.
  7. Add the broccoli, chicken, bacon and pasta to the party and stir it up.
  8. Add the yummy cream mixture and bring it to a boil.
  9. Pop that tasty dish into the oven and bake it for 10 minutes. After 10, sprinkle the panko/parmesan mixture evenly across the top. Cook it for another 10-15 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown. Want it extra crispy? 10-15 seconds under the broiler should do the trick. Enjoy!

No Dutch oven? No problem! Once the cream
has been added you can transfer everything to a 9”
by 11” baking dish and pop it in the oven.
